Our current project called "Seed to Shutter" are photographs taken by the children using disposable Kodak and Fuji cameras. These children are between the ages of 7 to 18 years old living in the labor camps and private ranchos outside of Vizcaino. The images reveal their daily lives as migrant workers. As part of the efforts to help in Baja, postcards are made of the images then put into collection boxes. Each box contains seed packets to send back to the communities to help cultivate sustainable co-operative gardens for the families in needs.
" For as the soil makes the sprout come up and a garden causes seeds to grow, so the sovereign Lord will make righteousness and praise spring up before all nations"
